At Varrow, we grew the business at approximately 80% per year, compounded, for the five years that I was part of the team. When we needed to develop leaders who could maintain alignment through that kind of growth, we turned to Jeff Patnaude. Since then, Jeff has served as a teacher, coach, mentor, and role model for many who were on the Varrow team… including me. His teachings are integral to the work I now do with my clients.
Jeff is the author of seven books on leadership and mentoring, and 25 children’s books. He’s a teacher, speaker, composer, business leader and Executive Mentor. Recognized as one of the pioneers in bringing together the marketplace and Spirit at Work, The Patnaude Group’s focus and professional dedication for three decades has centered on the most pressing issues facing our culture today: work/life flow, developing mentors for The Greater Good, creating healthy work environments where people thrive, and teaching and coaching others toward developing them as transformational leaders.
With degrees in psychology, theology and education, Jeff’s approach to teaching is unique in that he works from the “inside out,” extracting the best qualities from each individual and then teaching them how to re-create behavior for maximum performance. From coaching startups to serving transformational conglomerates like Cisco Systems as their first vendor since 1991, Jeff has helped shape some of the world’s most influential companies. He’s trained and mentored over 40,000 business leaders in multiple organizations and has been described as “the Leonard Bernstein of leadership development” by gaining an international reputation for his ability to orchestrate environments for transformation. Jeff’s programs are based out of his incredible mountaintop farm in Warrenton, Virginia, the Golden Apple Center for Inner Excellence.
In this episode, Jeff shares thoughts on Servant Leadership from his books and programs:
- Four Elements of the Transformational leader – A beginning to the ways of Transformation (Ideal Influence, Individual Consideration, Intellectual Stimulation and Inspirational Motivation)
- The Habits of Heroes – 12 Practices of the Mentor
- From Great to the Greater Good – how the attitude of Gratitude and Service will effect the Morphogenetic Field that surrounds the earth, has memory and influences our behavior
